West Richland Veteran’s Day Parade
Sixteen cars honored America’s Veterans by participating in the West Richland Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 5th. Unfortunately, the day began a bit foggy, however, we were fortunate to have blue skies by parade time. Several of the joined up at Sterling’s Restaurant on Queensgate for breakfast/lunch following the parade.
Walla Walla Museum and Night Glow
Four cars headed to Walla Walla for the Hotair Balloon Night Glow on Friday, October 14th. First stop was the Walla Walla Museum, followed by a delicious dinner at Smith’s Family Restaurant. Unfortunately, the Night Glow was cancelled due to weather. Fortunately, everyone was happy to smooth over their disappointment with ice cream at Baskin Robbins prior to heading home.
Benton-Franklin Fair & Rodeo Parade
The 3 Rivers Corvette Club paraded 13 Corvettes in the Benton-Franklin Fair & Rodeo Parade held in Kennewick on Saturday, August 20th. The Club won the Parade’s “Sweepstakes” Award. Following the parade, some members cruised to Walla Walla for lunch, while others cruised to Country Mercantile in South Richland for ice cream and other goodies
Walla Walla VA Medical Center Event
Eight 3RCC members and their cars participated in a military veterans recognition event at the Walla Walla VA Medical Center on Friday, Aug. 26th. The members “caravaned” from the Tri-Cities to Walla Walla where they met members of the Blue Mountain Corvette Club. There was a caravan of 26 Corvettes going to the VA medical center where they were displayed for several hours.
