Hello Everyone – We are less than 24 weeks away from celebrating Corvettes and enjoying, friends, food and fun.  We invite all of you to make plans to hit the highways and join us in Kennewick, WA for a memorable weekend of events and helping make “Wishes” come true for children fighting life-threatening illnesses.

 

IMPORTANT NEWS & NOTES

THURSDAY 9/10 – Our Sponsor Appreciation & Corvette Kickoff Event is set for 4:00PM in the Foyer of the Three Rivers Convention Center.  It is the only Event scheduled that day and is Free to all early arriving attendees.  Registration Table will be available from 10AM to 3PM.

LODGING  – We encourage everyone to secure your lodging early – and it is exciting to report that with 5+ months to go……

SPRINGHILL SUITES IS SOLD OUT, PACKED, LOADED, ALL FULL. You folks are awesome in your planning. Well Done…. Never has a Corvette Event Hotel Sold Out 5+ months early!

HILTON GARDEN INN – (509) 735-4600   Cool News here also.  The Hilton is under a complete interior remodel throughout the Hotel.  It started this winter and will be done in the coming months.  VERY IMPORTANT – when calling to make a Reservation their phone system will send you to corporate for booking.  Make the reservation, inform them you want the Corvette Rate, there is a large block of rooms there – and currently over 30% is booked by Corvette Owners.

BEST WESTERN TRI-CITIES CENTER – (509) 219-0796 Located directly behind the Convention Center – the newest of the three – and ready for your reservation.

 

WATER2WINE CRUISES – (509) 578-1717 Our Friday afternoon Corvette Lunch Cruise on the Columbia River is also taking reservations.  Remember….Water2Wine manages this event from Ticket Sales to the River Cruise.  Call Water2Wine directly to book your trip!  Here is the Menu for you to select from –

Steak & Chicken Duet Plate – Tender Beef and Herb Seasoned Chicken, plated and served with chef-selected sauces, creamy red potato mash and roasted vegetables.

Vegetarian Meal – Stuffed Portobello Mushroom, filled with quinoa, sauteed vegetable, baby spinach, garlic and warm herbs. Finished with Olive Oil and Smoked Paprika. Served with roasted vegetables.

Only 62 seats are available for this lunch cruise.

 

VALVE COVER RACES & RC CAR RACING

The famous Valve Cover Races are set for Friday @ 3:00 out in front of the Convention Center.  We love to see the creativity of the Valve Cover Cars, and last year’s competitor from Spokane by one of “the Mary’s” was off the chart!  Guaranteed to be fun!

RC Car Racing will be fun and held between Heats of the Valve Car Races.  Challenge a friend or foe and see who can manage and run a fast RC Car on our miniature NASCAR Track!

This will all be fun to watch and fun to be a part of.

We appreciate all the early registrations – and please keep them coming.  It truly helps in forecasting totals, which in turn help us with Supply Quantities, Food Orders, Beverage Orders and so much more.  Thank you again, we truly want to make it a great weekend for you.

POKER RUN

Our Poker Run is departing the Convention Center at 1:00pm – and Randy is working on some great stops, one with an incredible view.  That’s the only hint you’ll get from me.

 

SILENT & LIVE AUCTIONS

Kathleen is hard at it building up a great selection to choose from.  Some are pretty exciting.

Silent & Live Auction Items will be on Display for viewing, Thursday afternoon.  Bidding Opens @ 9:00am Friday and Closes at 4:00pm.

Live Auction with Kirt Shaffer will begin at Approx. 6:00ish.

 

CORVETTE AWARDS

Show Awards will be presented Saturday Night with over 50 Corvette Awards being presented.  We are bringing back the Photo Booth so you can grab your memories with friends.

We look forward to seeing all of you soon, and the 3 Rivers Corvette Club is on task for bringing you a full weekend of Corvette fun.
